Marsh & Co. is a full service interior design business and in house manufacturer of luxury bespoke furniture, cabinetry, curtains, blinds, upholstered furniture and soft furnishings based in South Yorkshire.

An exciting opportunity now exists for a talented Senior Designer / Project Coordinator who is looking to progress to grow an established interior design company. The role will primarily involve leading, inspiring and managing our small team, taking direction form the business owner, whilst also adding your own unique style and direction.

We are looking for someone that can

Arrange in-store consultations and home visits to find out all requirements
Inspire, and support our team and customers from design concept to installation
Create and present innovative design schemes
Provide exceptional customer service in the showroom and over the phone
Expertly manage multiple projects ensuring seamless communication and coordination throughout, managing manufacturing staff, tradesmen and suppliers
Show an in depth knowledge of manufacturing curtains, blinds, upholstery, kitchens, bespoke cabinetry and furniture

SKILLS REQUIRES

Minimum 5-years experience at Senior Designer level in the residential sector and, ideally with experience manufacturing furniture and soft furnishings
A natural leader with the ability to manage the business and further develop a small team of curtain makers, upholsterers and designers
Proven track record of high end interior schemes including furniture, lighting, soft furnishings, artwork and appropriate lifestyle accessories
Producing detailed mood boards and visuals to bring the scheme to life using CAD and visualisation packages. Ideally with experience in Winnerflex, Articad and Roomsketcher.
Ongoing client liaison, project management of manufacturing staff, contractors and partners in project delivery
Strong IT skills including In Design, Xero, Adobe CS and MS Office/Excel
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Self- motivated, highly organised and able to prioritise work deadlines
Build and optimise relationships with suppliers both existing and new
Lead the creative direction and style of the business.
