The Brief

At MARSH & CO, we specialise in crafting high-end interiors that serve as a true reflection of our clients' lifestyles. This Sheffield lounge project is a masterclass in our design philosophy, seamlessly merging sophisticated aesthetics with the warmth of a lived-in home. By placing our client’s personal vision at the heart of the process, we have curated a space that is as structurally beautiful as it is effortlessly functional.

Custom wall moulding and traditional paneling create a sense of heritage and scale, providing a crisp, textured backdrop for the room’s modern elements. The design plays with a bold high-contrast palette, pairing deep charcoal leather seating with a central, cream-tufted ottoman for a look that is both striking and balanced. A statement rattan drum pendant brings an organic, woven texture to the ceiling, while geometric cushions and a line work rug introduce a contemporary edge. The marble-finished mantel and wood-burning stove act as the heart of the home, framed by symmetrical window treatments and bespoke Roman blinds for a polished, tailored finish.

Every element has been selected with purpose, transforming this lounge into a sanctuary of style that perfectly captures the aspirations of its owners.

  • “So happy with the final renders of the kitchen, we have gone for shaker style cabinets, marble worktops, range cooker position moved to the middle of the room with feature extractor hood over. Breakfast cupboard, large island centered in the middle with stools. Having a designer like @marshandco.interiordesign has proved invaluable to bring to life our thoughts and ideas but also challenge us on new concepts and practicalities we would not have thought of.
