The Brief

At MARSH & CO, we specialise in crafting luxury interiors that serve as a canvas for our clients' unique personalities. This ground floor transformation is a masterclass in our design philosophy: a seamless marriage of heritage architectural features and sleek, contemporary elegance. By listening intently to our client's lifestyle aspirations, we have curated a space that balances high-end entertaining with a welcoming, lived-in warmth.

The entire ground floor was remodelled and reframed by creating two beautiful glass partitions bespoke wall panelling and an intricate coffered ceiling, establishing a sense of rhythm and timeless scale that honours the home’s character.

At the heart of the dining room sits a magnificent circular pedestal table. It is paired with plush, ergonomic chairs whose curved silhouettes invite guests to linger long after the final course. Our custom floor-to-ceiling joinery, finished in a deep, moody charcoal, offers a striking counterpoint to the airy walls. Subtle, integrated lighting transforms these units into glowing showcases for curated artisanal ceramics. A honey-toned oak herringbone floor provides a grounding warmth, beautifully contrasted by the soft tactility of the upholstery and the sharp, tailored lines of bespoke Roman blinds.
