The Brief

At MARSH & CO, we transform functional transitions into expressions of luxury. This staircase and landing project blends traditional architectural details with a bold, contemporary edge to create a sophisticated focal point.

Our design centers on a monochrome foundation, using deep contrasts to define the staircase’s lines and enhance the sense of height. Key elements include:

A herringbone wool runner with a crisp black border for a tailored finish. Brushed metallic stair rods that add a layer of classic, light-catching hardware. Dark charcoal grasscloth wallpaper provides a tactile contrast to the clean white joinery. A statement glass wall sconce creates a warm glow, unifying the flow between floors.

By meticulously curating every finish, we’ve turned a simple thoroughfare into an inspirational, lived-in experience.
